One of the goals we talked about recently was to get educators and future web professionals involved in our meetups, so we're excited to have you aboard. I would personally prefer to hear a talk on AS3, especially from someone with a domain like monkeyflash.com :)

I've been lurking around your site, and I'm inspired by your group's efforts to share information with one another. I'm a web developer at South Carolina ETV and a web development instructor at Midlands Tech. I'd be happy to present on the subject of building a standards-based CSS website, a topic that is one of my favorites. Or, how about a chat about what's new in ActionScript 3.0?

You must have been reading the mind of the folks at WebMonkey, Justin. They just posted an article titled Install Django and Build Your First App. Of course, the first app is a blog. I'd still be down with hearing your take on a Django introduction though. That is, as long as you speak in a Danish accent and say "WHOOOPS!" every few minutes.

I'm probably most qualified to give an intro to Django. Maybe the ubiquitous "Build a blog" tutorial. Alternatively, I could give an overview of django's powerful templating language (complete with templating inheritence) which might be nice for a design-oriented crowd.
