Inaugural Meetup

Flying Saucer LogoIt’s time to get this Refresh thing up in the air here in Columbia, and what better way to do that than a trip to the Flying Saucer (directions) on Thursday, June 26th.  This inaugural meeting will serve two purposes.  First, it’s an opportunity for us all to get to know each other.  Some of us know some of you, and some of you know some of us, but nobody knows all of us. Additionally, it’s an opportunity to share opinions about the future of Refresh Columbia. We’ll likely ask some (if not all) of the following questions:

  1. Who should we encourage to get involved?
  2. What topics should we cover?
  3. Where should our future meetings be held?
  4. When should we meet each month?
  5. How can we really “refresh” the interactive industry here?
  6. Why are we doing this again? :)

You can prepare for this pop-quiz by thinking really hard.  If your head starts hurting you can cheat by peeking at the websites of some of the other Refresh groups nationwide.  Don’t think you can handle that kind of pressure?  No problem.  There will be plenty of other quizzes throughout the semester to bring your average up.

So to sum up all this ridiculousness:
