Open Position: Web Developer
Mad Monkey is seeking applicants for the following position:
The Web Developer must be able to display, either through live websites
or archived code, superior skills with Flash, PHP, MySQL, XML, AJAX,
JavaScript and CSS. This person must be able to work independently
based on project management calendars and direction provided in
weekly meetings. Understanding of and appreciation for excellent
design is a must – we are looking for people with coding and
programming skills who appreciate a higher aesthetic. Understanding
of the need to develop websites that function across major browsers –
and the relevant “bugginess” of the major browsers – is also necessary.
Experience creating client-facing functionality documents and custom
content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
The Mad Monkey Interactive team is made up of staff members
responsible for business development, marketing, project management,
strategy, programming and design. We are looking for a Web Developer
to contribute to this core group of individuals.
A minimum of 3-5 years of web development experience is necessary.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their ability to play well with
others, their portfolio (active websites is ideal) and their ability to
demonstrate knowledge of web usability best practices, major interactive
trends and web applications.
