Job Lead – UI Designer

I was just handed a job lead for a User Interface Design position with the State Budget and Control Board’s Office of Research and Statistics. You can take a look at the official description if you like.

Here is their description:

Incumbent will design user interfaces and graphics for dynamic web applications for the Health and Demographics section. Designs and implements data driven web sites using open source technologies, including XHTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails and Ajax. Meets with clients to determine user needs and perform user testing of web applications.

I know many of these individuals personally and I can tell you it would be a great place to work and a great team of people to work with. In fact Jason Dew from this same office is slated to give a presentation/talk to RefreshColumbia in the coming months on Ruby/Rails development.
