Position will primarily be responsible for Web design, client-side coding, and content management for both internal and external Web sites. This position will work with marketing, customer service and IT counterparts to deliver Web content, visuals, multimedia and applications that meet business objectives for this Fortune 500 Company. This individual will monitor content on a daily basis and work with our IT teams to resolve technical and production issues. Responsibilities also include adhering to Web standards in support of corporate branding. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of front-end Web development experience in a corporate or agency environment, knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Web usability, and demonstrated experience in Web and graphic design concepts. Applicants must be able to hand-code in standards-based (x)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create rich Web experiences. Familiarity with server side programming languages and client-side libraries, such as jQuery, is desired.
